Block/cylinder head threads tapped....need some info

Well i got the whole bottom end assembled on my l98 and I noticed that the cylinder head threads on the block were gummed up and I was advised to use a thread chaser on them and after the fact it occurred to me that I didn't know where the threads led to..... Do ANY of them lead into the internals like the crankcase? Ill rip it apart for the 3rd time and clean it if I have to but im hoping like hell they just go into the coolant passages because I can get that clean with an air compressor....

So am I good? Or do I have another hour and a half of disassembly and cleaning on my hands here????

They're into the coolant passages. That's why you have to seal headbolt threads.
