Title explains it all I'm looking at a 91 or 92 camaro with a 350 and it is suposiple running on 7 cylinders any suggestions ?

 

Check your plug wires see any of them burnt threw or something. my friend had same prob and one of his wires got burnt threw on head. check if all plugs are getting spark too

 

Oh ok well it has a 5 speed and 350 and it needs a clutch( won't go in any gear) and running on sever cylinders so if it's small it's good I mean the guy wants 700 for it so I can't see it not being worth it I think

 

if you are looking for a project vehicle that you have every intention of spending a few thousand dollars to fix then go look at it. What you describe is a "roller"

I paid $500 for a RUNNING 89 RS with a 305 with zero rust. I have just about finished the restoration/complete rebuild.

If you are looking to get a daily driver from this car and hope a few bucks will fix it.......run away real fast. 7 cylinders???? How do you know? Did the seller tell you? If it was just a plug wire then the seller would have replaced it.

As for the clutch being bad, will it not even go into any gear?

honestly, that's a project car that you're looking at and not one that you'll buy and have on the road for a couple hundred bucks

 

Is it carbureted, throttle body injection, tuned port injection....?

What does the induction system look like? Depending on what you have, it could rule out/rule in certain problems.

 

I bought my 87 Iroc with the 350 when it was running on 7 cylinders, of course I didnt know it was when I bought it and I bought it from a dealership. A few days ago I replaced all the plugs and wires and wallah it runs HARD. I have put 100 miles on it in those few days because its so much fun and I still have over a quarter of a tank and all I have done is race the darn thing (I refilled it after I fixed it)!
