Re: 1.6 roller rockers????

I have the GM aluminum 1.6 roller rockers on stock 305 heads and stock valve covers. No issues. They are a bit noiser than the original stamped steel rockers.

Re: 1.6 roller rockers????

I seem to have a clearance issue where the pushrods go thru the heads, does anyone know what is a safe amount of clearance????? Thanks, Tom

Re: 1.6 roller rockers????

I dont have a number for clearance, but if you are running the stock heads, you need self-aligning rocker arms and that takes care of the clearance issue. I know there isnt a lot of clearance on my 305 heads, but no problems with the self-aligning rockers.
