Conversion Engine prices
How much did you pay for your LS engine and trans. I am shopping around me and prices seem high. Just wanting to see what others are paying. Thanks!

Re: Conversion Engine prices
Depends on if you can find one in the JY at a reasonable price. The JY up here I can get a complete FI motor (doesn't matter out of what) for around $270 with accessories, course that those prices all I've seen so far is V6s.
I think one member did has a conversion (motor and trans) out a wrecked 4th gen on the classifieds.

Re: Conversion Engine prices
When I was looking around and contemplating for a LS swap, LS1 engines seemed to be extremely expensive. But LS truck engines can be had pretty cheap around here. 500-600 will get you a pretty low mile 5.3. And 1000 can get you a nice 6.0. Im in middle Tennessee.
