Alright so i know this has been talked about on here but i have been having this problem with my car. Whenever it runs for a little while it wont start back up...no turning over etc. Somebody else said it best its like there isnt even a battery except all the lights and the radio still work....From what Ive come up with its from the starter getting hot...my question is this. I found a heat shield from advance auto for the starter but they also make one for the starter solenoid...is the problem that the starter gets hot or that the starter solenoid gets hot? Thanks for the help its much appreciated.
