car is firing on exhaust stroke,can i get back to compression stroke by gett it at tdc on exhaust stroke,then pull dist. out spin crank full 360 untill timing mark lines up again(will it be on tdc compression stroke?),and drop dist in ,then gett timing tuned in.also whats the factory timing for a 91 305

 

Yes, that will get the distributor in position.

 

thank the lord should i line it up at 0 degrees to startout with?

 

Not sure what the timing spec is, I'd guess about 6 to 8 degrees.
