86 Camaro flooding out when warm
86 Camaro flooding out when warm
I have an 86 Iroc Camaro with a 305 TPI. It cranks good in the morning, but I can run it 6 miles down the road and stop and turn the engine off, go in a store & return within 5 minutes and I have to push the gas pedal to the floor & spin it over and over to crank it because it's like it's flooded out and I smell gas. Once it cranks it runs fine. If I try to crank it without touching the gas pedal, it won't crank, but you smell gas fumes strongly. Has anyone ever had this problem that can help me out because I've never seen it happen. What could be causing this problem?
Thanks so much any advice you can give.
