Camshaft position sensor

I have heard that this can cause a car not to start and is likely the culprit of my problem. Is there any who can give basic info like what a cam sensor is, where it is, how to check, how to fix/replace it, price of a new one?

Re: Camshaft position sensor

A 82 Camaro 305 doesn't have one, so don't worry about it.

Tell us what your problem is, maybe a little history that led up to it, maybe that'll get you pointed in the right direction.
