94 Grand Prix rear suspension seems frozen
I've read through this site in the past and saw great responses to help issues, so was hoping you could help me out. MY brother owns an 85 Camaro, that is how I found this site.
My 94 Grand Prix rear suspension seems to be completely frozen. There is no flex(maybe 1/4 to 1/2 in if you push down really hard), just very stiff. I'm assuming that both rear struts need changing, but it seems odd that both would go at the same time. The rear suspension got bad after driving through a really bad rain storm.
The person at the local autoparts' store mentioned that it could be the horizontal spring going bad. If so, is there a way to check?? or am I over thinking this too much and should just change the struts.
The car has 212K, but rr struts were changes approx 120K ago. I'm looking to fix the car today after work, I'm tired of bouncing all over the place when I hit a bump
thx for the help

Re: 94 Grand Prix rear suspension seems frozen
Feel free to ask on a Grand Prix forum, they're popular cars, their forums do exist (I was a member on one when I had a '92 GP).
It's a totally different animal than a Camaro, nothing would be the same, so asking here is a waste of time - not to mention against the rules.
