Some general questions
My Car runs up to 210F sometimes in this 100 degree heat. Is this normal?
I'm getting some strange squeak like sounds from my Rear End. I'm pretty sure the bearings are okay. I did upgrade to Tubular control arms and a Tubular Panhard bar. they have poly bushings. Could THAT be the problem? It almost sounds like my springs creeking, i dunno. It happens when the rear bounces even a little.
In addition, there's a SHhhh sound. I was guessing that was my shocks, but it's kinda annoying. Do i need different shocks? The ones that are on there aren't even a year old. They're Monroes.

Re: Some general questions
Heating thing depends...whats the coolant system like? What rad, what thermostat, what fans, etc
Normally in that kind of weather, 210 aint too bad. But if you are trying to keep it in the 180 range with a big rad, high flow fans, and low temp thermostat then you may have some other issues.
Squeaks likely are from the bushings. My car does this. Could be the spring isolators rubbing too.

Re: Some general questions
I got a 180 Thermostat, but i know that that doesn't mean it keeps the temperature at 180. That's simply when it opens to let coolant flow. The engine is bone stock. it's a worn out 305 with a carburetor. When the car is cold, it starts right up. Even as quickly as my 2005 PT Cruiser. When i've been driving it, it has to turn over a few times to start.
Do you think I could put some grease in the spring isolators? Maybe i'll put it up on the lift at the base and regrease the bushings.
