Hey whats up guys, I need help. I just bought this 87 trans am and I am having issues with it. The car was v6 but the guy before me swapped the engine with a 350 carburetor engine. The issue is that sometimes when I start the car I will have to keep feeding it gas to keep it running, but every time i put it in gear (drive and reverse) it jerks, like it wants to take off and dies. If i keep my foot on the brake and the gas at the same time and switch gears to drive or reverse it will go but at soon as i come to a stop, it shuts off again. What do you think the issue could be?
