Rear Differential oil

I have the 9 bolt Borg Warner limited slip differential rear end (3:27), and I'm thinking about switching over to a synthetic oil. I plan on using the GM oil additive that they recommend. Anyone see any issues with this ? Will the synthetic blend with the additive ? Is the additive a synthetic base anyway ?

Appreciate all coments....

Re: Rear Differential oil

Synthetic differential oil isn't worth the difference in price.
