88 Camaro 305 valve seals

I want to purchase a 88 Camaro but the 305 engine needs valve seals, can anyone tell me if this is a costly job, the car is solid and in beautiful shape, the engine has 100,070 on it . Help with this issue, anyone out there...

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: 88 Camaro 305 valve seals

A set of valve seals costs about $12, and a set of the gaskets you'll need is about another $15.

So draw your own conclusions about "costly". Seems pretty cheeeeeeep to me, compared to tires, gasoline, insurance, etc. So in the grand scheme of things it's trivial.

Yes, the parts are cheap. But it's a bitch of a job to do it yourself and you have A/C, air injection and TPI. Or you can pay 4.9 hours to have it done by a pro.
