adjusting the rockers.
Hey guys,
I finally have my motor back together and wanted to clear things up on the rocker/calves adjustment. Iv heard of several different ways and was hoping that someone can shed some light I. The best way to do it. Best way iv heard so far was to "do what the book says", get the motor in and adjust from there while its running. It is also with solid liters .

Re: adjusting the rockers.
Exhaust opening Intake closing EOIC. Rotate the motor by hand or bump the starter over and watch a cylinder. While the exhaust valve is starting to open, adjust the intake. Now watch the intake valve on the same cylinder. When the intake valve is all the way open and just starts to close, adjust the exhaust valve. Repeat on the other cylinders. This is the most acurate way I've found to do this.

Re: adjusting the rockers.
Being that it is brand new, ill bump it over with the starter . Will be a lot easier. And thank you. Any other suggestions are welcome
Re: adjusting the rockers.
) is to go to the rockers where the valves are not open and get them snug. I then bump the engine and do the rest. Then it's time to start the engine, I back off rockers until they make noise, then tighten until the noise goes away and then another 1/3 to 1/2 turn and I'm done and on to the next oneyou don't get oil splatter but can always put a chunk of cardboard if you want
