I got a 91 RS Camaro with a 305 tbi, automatic. I was given the car from a friend who just didn't want it taking up space anymore. I had to replace the motor because I finally ruled out it was blown. I replaced it with a 305 motor from a 84 Camaro. After getting the motor in and connecting everything, the car still will not start. The dashlights light up, but when I try to turn the car over, it wont turn over. It just sits there and clicks. I don't hear the fuel pump engaging either. Any help would be appreciated.

 

If it goes "click click click click" while the key is turned, dead battery.

We tried to jump the car, but still no go. It is a pretty new battery, So i dont think it would be the battery... I will go and get it tested. I've been poking around and I am suspicious of the battery connections...
