hard start!
my T/A has been sitting for like 9 months there was nothing wrong with it i just never used it and now i want to use it but my battery was dead. charged it then went to start it started up fine after that i turn it off to see if the battery was good then it would not start i would have to crack it a few time then it would start and run fine? my question would be if it the fuel pump or just bad or dirt fuel? it does that all the time now takes a few turns of the key to start?????

Re: hard start!
Sitting for that long could have turned the gas to varnish if it wasn't treated - gas should be used within 60 days unless treated with Sta-bil or similar product.
I'd grab a can of Seafoam and add to the tank per instructions. Then I'd change the fuel filter. Lastly, make sure pump is priming with key on, and double check fuel pump relay operation.
The Seafoam will help clean the varnish from the old gas. Changing filter will remove what might be clogged up.
