Air pump question

Air pump question
I am installing headers on my 88 Iroc and naturally doing away with the air injection tubes and the plumbing that accompanies them. My question is, there are two harnesses that go to that plastic housing above the right side manifold, each of them has a pink wire with black stripe. Will leaving them disconnected give me a check engine light or any other problem? As always, Thanks.

no , no problem at all . just tape them up . don't cut connectors off , just tape them . good luck .
