Is this cracked head good?
I was browsing a auction site and I found this cylinderhead. It has a crack where the 2 center exhaust port are. Would you buy these head? Is it wise to use the heads?

Kind of odd that theres a liner in that center bolt hole. Not quite sure what they where trying to accomplish. If it runs the whole way, the bolt would end up loading the liner, and not necessarily the cylinder head in that one spot since its not really a press fit with a large crack on both sides of it. Id probably steer clear of them since the liner is creating additional cracks really close to where the fire rings are, not to mention the water jacket.
If there where no liner, they could be fixed by a good machine shop if the crack didnt go too far into the deck.

I wouldn't trust that at all! That crack is into the water jacket!
