Help with the drivers side valve cover 83 CFI TransAm

When i first got the car i needed to replace the passenger valve cover gasket. after removing pretty much everything in the way i got it done, I never did the drivers side because it wasint leaking, however now i pretty much have a blown out valve cover gasket now. I need to replace it but there is a line going from the manifold to the brake booster i need to remove in order to get the cover off. Is it safe for me to take that line off without having to bleed the brakes?, If pics are needed i can get some, but i figure someone should know what i meen because valve covers are done fairly often.

That's just a vacuum line, you can remove it and put it back on with no issues.

The brake lines that you are worried about go from the proportioning valve down, nothing goes "over" the motor so far as the brakes are concerned other than the vacuum line.

Glad to help! There are so many people on here with so much knowledge, it's amazing to think how there isn't some super F-Body garage somewhere that they work at! lol Everything I have learned about my car I've learned here.
