Engine wont start, Strong Crank

Was driving my car daily all of last week and the begining of this one. Went to start it yesterday and it will not turn over. It keeps cranking strong. Noticed that the engine oil was about a qrt. low, topped that off and noting else seems to be different. Battery is fine. Ideas? Were to stat checking?

Re: Engine wont start, Strong Crank

From your description, it could be anything... bad fuel pump, spark issue, VATS problem, etc. Are you getting spark? Also what is the fuel pressure at the rails? Look into these first and then let us know so we can help you troubleshoot further.

Hope this helps.

Re: Engine wont start, Strong Crank

1988 car won't have VATS (or shouldn't anyway) - so disregard that possibility.
