Newbie with car dieing issue.

Hi, my resently purchased 92 Z28 305 TPI dies when I put it in gear and take my foot off the brake. It made it to work from being purchased (about 25 miles). I then cleaned the interior and degreased the engine. Then I drove it home about 12 miles and drove a couple times after that (breifly). Now all of a sudden it will idle in park and rev fine. You can put it in gear and sit and idle all day but the moment that you take your foot off of the brake it dies. Someone please help. I have read through alot of other similar problems on here and really haven't found anything. Thanks.

Must be related to your vacuum booster. My guess is that it's leaking vacuum, and the minimum idle air and TPS were temporarily adjusted to compensate.

What would be the best way to determine that this is the problem?

check fuel pressure. If it ran fine when you got it. being you drive it at least 20miles from the sounds of it. Then all of a sudden it dieing on you. Id guess low fuel psi. Then go from there.
