LM7 or LQ4

Ok, i just jumped off the deep end and bought a 67 camaro convertible. It currently has an LM7/4L60e in it, but its not wired in nor is the car completely finished. I located an Lq4 and 5 speed combo for $1k, should i consider swapping out the LM7/Eaton 5speed (i assume the 5 speed is auto, out of a 99 truck) or leave it in?

The 5.3l has the ls6 intake, updated fuel rails, and custom headers. Would all of these items swap over? both blocks are the same externally? Will the eaton fit in the transmission tunnel? will i grenade the stock differential with the 6 liter engine?

Re: LM7 or LQ4

everything will swap over they are both great engines just one is alittle bit more power and tq your diff can hold depending on your driving I had over 200 passes with a 6 speed on my stocker and its still in the car It is a 4th gen rear though

wait you have a 67 it will hold try to find a 6 speed instead of the eaton from what I know eaton drivetrain parts are hard to come by
