HELP! :)

i just purchased a 1988 GTA 305 5.0 Tuned port % speed. #4cyl is essentially dead. i did a Tune up with OE parts. I even changed the coil.
The car has a after market ECU in it from Accel. I called Accel and they have no info on it. They said they havent sold that ecu since 1998. I put a noid light on #4 injector and it is pulsing. I have spark going to the plug also. At this point i was sure it was a valve. I did a compression test and have 150. according to All Data thats good. Can it still be that accel ecu even thogh i have pulse? Im at my wits end. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Re: HELP! :)

It may be a bad injector. I had one that was stuck open once. Maybe yours is stuck closed or partially closed? You can use an ohm gauge and ohm all the injectors. This will prove if they're electrically ok. The readings should be close to each other. However, I don't know a way to test them mechanically without pulling them and sending them off or replacing them.

Hope this helps.

Re: HELP! :)

The ECU was no good. The new/used ecu fixed it. Thank you all for our help.
