1991 Firebird Trans Am GTA

Hi,
I'm looking at buying this 1991 5-speed 305tpi firebird trans am gta from a guy for 3000. The car runs real well and such but I was wondering if this is a good deal?
Also, the back latch trunk window thing, it sticks about an inch past the body, it will do the auto pull down lock thing and it works its just way off, is this bad? Also it smokes while it runs, what could this be?

And do you think this is a good deal, the car is in pretty good condition just needs a some paint and maybe a new back wing, the dolphin wing, forget what they're called.

Thanks

the hatch moving back is common, it cam be fixed, but i requires removing the piece, re-setting and re-attaching, there are adhesives involved. Smoke, old valve seals if its blue ish, it its white, could be a intake/head gasket leaving coolant.

milage is important.

If its not rotted, its s decent price, but again, that depends on miles.

T-tops or hard top? If its hard top i would buy it

It has 180,000 miles about, its a fare bit but it runs real well. It has a hyper chip in it, what kind of difference does this make? It is T-top, the seals are about perfect so im not worried about them. The front bumper is also a little off, what do you think about that?

And thanks for the help.
