Whinning noise
First off my car is a 91 rs with 305tbi paired to a t5.
Ok so last night I dumped the clutch on it and took off then once I stopped at a stop sign and I began to turn left and as I climbed in rpms I noticed a whinning noised that progressivly got louder. It also felt a little funny when I began to turn. Got in the car this morning and started it up and it was about 50 degrees or so, so I let the car warm up and I noticed the whinning then as well. While the car wasn't in gear I did a couple 3k revs after it had warmed up and the whinning still got louder as the rpms increased. This leads me to believe its not my transmission or rearend. I checked the power steering fluid and its fine although I noticed what could possibly be a small leak but like I said the fluid level was fine.
