Engine: 5.7 Liter V8
Transmission: Auto 700R4
Axle/Gears: Stock
Car takes 2 seconds to stop running after shut off
About 1 out of 3 times when I shut off my 84 t/a it runs for 1-2 seconds then shuts off. Any ideas? Its a 77 chevy 350 block with 305 heads and a 4 barrel quadrajet if that helps.

Does it feel like its trying to start back up? Grinding noise from the motor?
Sounds to me a bad tune, car diesels on shutdown. Get a tune and it should go away.
