Engine: LR4 4.8
Transmission: 98-02 t56 6 speed
Axle/Gears: Bw 9 bolt (3.70’s) pbr rotors
gen 1 sbc wit lt1 heads an intake
can i use a gen 1 sbc with a lt1 setup my gf is looking to do a 3rd gen lt1 swap to her 86 trans am she got the car for 1000 dollars with a spun bearing 305 but the guy also gave a 2 bolt main disassembled with the rotating assembly no heads, cam, intake or distributor

You could but the cost would out way the benefits.

The LT1 intake however can be modified to fit on reg GenI heads
Needs a hole for mounting dist and ports for coolant that are not in the LT1 intake
