91 RS died, just need a quick answer.
So today Im driving home from autozone (picked up some soap because she was all dirty from the snow storm) and I was coming up to a stop light, so as I was slowing down my car just dies, no hesitation before that, nothing made it feel like something was wrong, it just died... It's not giving a check engine light either, so it can't be narrowed down to one specific thing, so can someone just give me a couple of possible things it could be?
Notes:
-the car started back up very easily and drove fine on the way home
-the check engine light came on earlier in the week but I stopped to get gas and when I turned the car back on the light didn't come back for the rest of the day or the rest of the week
-I've been getting bad gas mileage (15mpg) so its probably time for a complete tune up to try to fix that
-it's a 305 TBI auto tranny
Any help is very much appreciated, thanks guys

If it starts back up there's not much you can do to narrow it down, can be anything.
Just wait til it does it again, and if it's a TBI car you can check for fuel easily (watch for fuel coming out of the injectors during cranking) and you can check for spark by pulling a plug, grounding it, and watching.

Well I was thinking it was something in the ignition system because I did check the injector spray when I got home and it seemed normal
