Check Engine Light???

Okay so my 1991 camaro rs 305 check engine light will not come on
I took my gauge cluster out and check all the bulbs the bulbs were in good condition
Even if I turn the ignition on the lights come on expect the dang Check engine light
Can someone help me with this situation

this is not vehicle specific for your car but i found someone that had mentioned this on another forum that might help...


There are fuses that directly affect the CEL light. Also, if a ECU ground is not proper, the CEL will not come on, if there is no power to the ECU, the CEL will not come on.
Every manufacturer has their own wiring system - check the schematics for your fuses, the locations, etc. and the procedure for ECU diagnosis.
