Videos on rebuilding engines?
Anyone know where I can find a video on rebuilding a 350 engine from start to finish? Kind of like one of those time lapse videos but slowed down with the mechanic explaining how to do each step...
I have been looking all over youtube and can't find one.

This video is for a stock rebuild. Performance rebuilds are close enough. It was one of the most useful things I got when I was researching it. Really helped when I was reading through the various books I got to understand what they were trying to say after I had seen the dvd first. The dvd isn't as indepth as a book, but it shows you a LOT of very important things and you'll be able to picture things. The details about what is going on can be filled in by the books.

When it comes to what will perform well, the boards are a lot better resource than books. When it comes to how to assemble it, the books will help a bunch. The dvd is awesome, but it doesnt show you how to check clearances or rocker arm geometry or a few other things, so be sure to read the books too. But the book + dvd will fill in 95 percent of the blank spots in your head.

Its like riding a bike the first time your a little nervous and shaky but after it starts up you feel pretty good. The next one will be easier.
