Wrist pin retainer options...
K, I screwed up 2 of the spiro locs that came with my SRP/JE pistons which is pretty common from what I now understand...
So, I can re-order the same locks, get this tool... and try again...
http://www.lockintool.com/about/
But I've been thinking about ordering the other type of wrist pin retainer the "Tru-Arc" loc... Looks like it's easier to get in and out if need be... but I'd need 32 of them... grrr
They appear to be interchangeable.
Any insights?
PROS vs CONS to either...?

I'm pretty sure if your pistons and/or wrist pins are designed for spiral locks, you can't use a snap ring.
Contact JE and ask before ordering parts you can't use.
Spiral locks are not reusable. I have no problem installing mine with a small screwdriver but I destroy them taking them out because I know they need to be replaced anyway.

Hmmm, I knew that was gonna be the answer.... Dammit
I wasn't stretching the clip enough and was trying to pull the front in... Instead of rolling the tail in...
At least they didn't go in bent... Because they just didn't go in
. Saves me having to remove them.
I'll pick up a couple of new ones, and finish the rest in the meantime.
It's always something
Thanks... Maybe I'll post a pic or drop a link later.
