low octane=misfire?
Is it possible that using a low octane on an old 305 can cause a misfire? Maybe if i used 93 octane, it would stop?
I changed all the plugs, wires, and it still misses on the 8th cylinder sometimes.
I don't think its a bent valve.

Re: low octane=misfire?
low octane = possbile detonation, not a missfire. it could be a bad wire, plug, or a bad spot on the cap.

Its the number 8 cylinder. It misses.
I don't want to waste my money on a 305 either, so if its a camshaft, i'm gonna have to junk it.
