Re: cam size

Literally just did all the research on this! My motor has a carb and i will be finishing my install tomorrow. I went with the lunati voodoo 60201 cam lifters and springs. Everything cost me 300 bucks including timing chain gaskets everything. And i have only heard good things about them!

There is a lot to choosing a good cam. A cam needs to be matched with the rest of the combo. The TPI is known to not be good in higher RPMs, thus a cam with a high power band would not be ideal. Your heads will also have a maximum number of lift they can handle. You will need to search all of this and then make a decision.

Calling Comp Cams or another reputable cam company would be a pretty good thing to do. There are also custom cam builders. Tell any of those your mods and intentions with the car and they could set you up pretty easily.

Re: cam size

XE268H-10 is about as big of duration I would go. That is 224/230, but that is an old cam and there probably is a better/newer grind out there.
