Sounds like belt slips and loss of power.
hello. I have a 305 TBI 89 Camaro. Car runs fine at low idle. But when you try and get up to speed, The engine runs sluggish. Sounds like there is a belt slipping. But when I checked all the pullies, they all spin freely. Any ideas, suggestions, anything? I even replaced the serpentine belt.

Thanks for all you help people. I couldn't have figured it out without you. (No one helped) It ended up being the cat. What sounded like a belt slipping, was air trying to escape.
