Well, I've finally finished all of my engine swap work and I now have this 2.8mpfi engine and mated 700r4 transmission sitting in the corner. I originally swore to keep it as its numbers matching to the car. (Only 50,000 original miles!) It is really starting to cramp my space. Is the v6 worth hanging on to or am I better off selling it? It ran tip top when pulled. I just wanted a v8. I dunno. I tend to hoard things. Seeking some other peoples opinions

 

I'd sell it, tell the guys over on the v6 section, seems like there always a blown engine over there.

 

Any more opinions?

 

I think it would be cool to have 2.8L in a 70s monza or vega. Kinda hard to find those in good shape nowadays.
