what compression ratio?
so im building a 87 305 roller cam motor ,and ive blueprinted the block except this;if i zero deck it and run cast flat tops and stock "416" heads,wtih your standard felpro head gasket.what compression rto might i expect with that setup?? i havent even given thought to a cam, what cam does a un modified TPI set up like???

Cast flat tops will have the usual .020" of extra "rebuilder" deck clearance added, on top of the stock .025".
So: 305 + .030"; flat top, 6cc valve reliefs; .045" clearance; .039" gasket; 58cc chambers: 8.17:1.
TPI is rather picky about cams, especially in a very low-compression 305 like that. I'd suggest a Comp "501" grind. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-08-501-8/
