Engine Randomly Wont Start Idles HORRIBLY and dies

I have a 1988 Iroc 350 TPI. It has been sitting for around 1 year now and i just went to start it up because im about to restore it. After turning the key several times and just hearing a click and no crack it eventually turned over and started. But it ran HORRIBLY it sounded like it had a HUGE cam and was idling extremely poorly. After 10 mins the car turned off and died and refused to start again. After letting the car cool down it started up with the same noise. The minute i gave it gas in drive it died it. I had to push it to my mechanics shop. Whats wrong!!!

Nothing yet I plan on changing the plugs doing wires and going through the distributor and fuel system
