knock sensor help

knock sensor help

hi ive fitted after markets headers and the knock sensor is very close i think will melt ,i carnt swap it over to the other side has same problem ,is there anywhere else i can mount it its a 305 tpi engine ,is it right i can bolt it just above the oil filter housing ,is this already threaded to the right size

you can relocated it there but it looses alot of its sensitivity.
