WHY WONT MY HEAT WORK!!!!

So For some reason my heat doesnt seem to work.I have flushed the heater core replaced the tstat and still nothing. My car hasnt been overheated and runs just fine. And it only comes on wen the setting is turned on high.Any suggestions on why this is this way and how i can fix it would be helpful.

Sounds like it is stuck in the default position. Make sure the small vacuum hose under the hood is connected. There is a small vacuum hose coming out of the firewall that runs near the distributor and usually connects to another series of vacuum hoses on the passenger side of the plenum. If this hose gets disconnected you no longer have any heat and the only way it works is when it is turned on high. I believe it will also come out of the defrost vents when this hose gets disconnected.
