odd noise/vibration

I recently got my trans am out from being up for the winter. Ran it a few times, nothing hard, just back and forth to school. Today, however, I noticed it was vibrating a little weird. Kind of a "vrum vrum vrum" like something spinning out of balance. I tinkered with the pedal and it was pretty consistant, speeding up and slowing down with throttle. Then I wound up running from someone who really wanted to flip me off on a back road, hit about 130, and the sound continued the whole, but I could know longer Feel the vibration. Nothing else went bad at that speed, handled fine otherwise. But when I got to my house shortly after the sprint, I got out and noticed a weird burning smell, but it quickly went away. I'm hoping this noise/vibration is normal and I'm just not used to it because I dont drive anything else with this big of a motor and she's been up for a few months, but I never remember it doing it before. I'm just wondering if this is something I should be concerned with, or if I should just turn up my radio.
