Best air intake setup for 350 TPI
I did a search on this before making the thread, so if i missed it, sorry lol
I should be getting my car back soon after about 2 months!!, so id like to start modding it immediatly to make up for lost time
What is the best CAI setup for a 350tpi? (mines an '88 to be specific)
Would a dual snorkle be overkill? Similar to this:

Right now its the stock setup with k&n filters. I personally just dont see how that setup could suffeciently feed that hungry 350, it gets very thin where the hood has to be when shut. It seems like theres room for improvement here.
this is what i have now, for reference: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3320/3...a02f52ee_z.jpg
Ive heard of people cutting rectangular "windows" in the back of the stock y-intake to open it up, and they all have said it made a huge difference in power. But, ive heard it was bad because it was sucking in hot air (none of these people had actually done it tho!)
Im just wondering what the best air intake setup is. I know that a great intake and exhaust will really wake up my already powerful tpi engine, so id like to get every ounce of power I can out of it.
I appreciate all input. Thanks
