My problem has been going on for a couple of weeks.I go out in the morning to take my daughter to school and the car starts fine and runs great.It usually runs for 15 to 20 mins.When i go back out to start it after an hour it will start right up.Then i go out later to pick her up from school around 5 hours later and it just cranks.I checked for spark and had none.When i go out the next morning to take her to school it starts right up again and then the same issue all over again.I had a ignition coil to try so i swapped it out but same issue.The one thing the car did over the last 2 months before it got to this point was sometimes when i started it the car would die quickly and start right back up and was fine after that.A couple of times it would die twice then start back up and be fine.Once it starts it will never die when its running only after it sits for some hours after its been driven.It drives excellent once started..any clues...was going to try the icm next....thanks

 

I had a bad ignition module that would do that several years ago. I would replace that first. I would recommend getting a GM one not a cheap autozone one...those tend to fail even more.
