CEL when braking
When I'm cruising down the road and I either apply brakes or even just let off the gas, my CEL comes on for like 10-15 secs and then cuts back off, nothing important but just annoying
As always, thanks!

No, not when I scan it at the shop. Am I gonna have to scan it while driving?

Ok, I guess I just didn't know if it was something with the brakes or something

Re: CEL when braking
95% that it's your O2 sensor readnig a bit rich/lean because of the motor's work load change when you let off the gas. My 84 would do that until I got the Carb built and tuned right for my new motor. Still occasionally does it but if you're not able to pull any codes, I wouldn't worry about it.
