spark plug gap w/ ram air box

I just installed a ram air box from hawks on my 88 iroc z (350). It seems like it is running funny... i.e. almost stalling after start and somehow a little less responsive at times. I have all the parts/equipment to do a tune-up tomorrow and my question is about the spark plug gap. Stock should me at .035, but I read that you may want to reduce the gap w/ a forced induction. Any idea if I should do that and if so by how much?? Thanks any help is greatly appreciated as I will probably do this first thing tomorrow!

cold air induction in not forced air like a turbo or blower. .035 gap would work fine.

Re: spark plug gap w/ ram air box

well it is RAM air induction which forces air into the engine... I believe a cold air induction allows the engine to "suck" the air. That is why I think it would be considered "forced." Also, I just unplugged my battery after I installed it to see if maybe the MAF sensor needed reset. I think this actually helped with my idling/running problem although I don't know if it is all in my head.

Re: spark plug gap w/ ram air box

^^^^^^^^ "ram air is NOT forced induction. its simply a "cold air" setup.
