Camaro suddenly running rough

I changed the distributor and the rotor today and when I started the car up it was running funny and seemed like it was about to stall then the "Infl Rest" light popped up. I don't know what could be the problem because I made sure everything was tight and in the correct firing order. Anybody know what could be going on?

Re: Camaro suddenly running rough

Did you change the distributor or its cap?
If you changed the dist. then you need to st the timing.
If only the cap & rotor, double check the firing order.

I guess I left that out, I only changed the cap and rotor but we did label each wire and its place on the new cap when its positioned to make sure everything returns to the right place and we checked we had it right multiple times. We also checked that the vacuum line was sealed corrrectly but every time I start the car it like kicks and bucks and the "Infl Rest" comes on. After you warm it up and keep it from dying the idle picks up and it runs fine I cant figure it out.

I'm not sure if this matters or not but the air cleaner is off at the moment I dont know if that has something to do with it I just thought I should mention it.
