ac dleco ep241 on tbi motor

just need a little confirmation, the ep241 works best for a stock 305tbi?? i dont wanna have to worry about installing another pump for as long as i have this car, its also getting a new gas tank and im going to blow out the fuel lines with some compressed air to be on the safe side.. just dont know what pump to go with.

so wat you think??? and if you disagree, which pump works better thats not costing me too much. gotta be budget.

what is the 8th letter on your VIN? If its an "F" then the EP241 will be fine, if its an "E" then you need an EP386. either way you can expect this pump to last as long if not longer than the OES pump. 60000 miles or so.

mines E.

ive been told to go with a tpi pump because it wont be working at its full capacity, as long as my fuel pressure regulator is fine. the tbi one maxes out at 12psi, as it should, but dont want it to take a dump on me.

i wouldnt. a tpi pump puts out much more pressure than you would need.
