I saw an ad in a recent HOT ROD magazine where you can aend a picture of your car to this company and they can create a drawing of it, if anyone knows what im talking about can you tell me the company name and or website? This is going to be a fathers day gift to my father so thanks.

 

I am not sure about this company but I may be able to help you out. I am quite talented in representational car drawings. If you send me a pic I could draw a detailed render then send you a pic. You could then choose if you wanted it or not. I know nothing about this company but I bet I could get you something for less $$ with great quality.

As an example here is an R8 that I sketched in about 4 hours in very small scale (this fits on an 8.5x11 printer paper Audi logo included). I could do something like this or something much larger.

Here is a Z06 and two Lamborghini's. I would be happy to send you a picture of your personal finished product before you are required to pay for it. I can produce a small to medium sized drawing quite quickly and could rework it to your liking.

How about something like this...
Its a picture of MY car. turned into a lithogram on a piece of corian. ( we did it on a cnc A LOT of work and time went into doing this.) I need to finish it off and put it in a 8x10 frame with leds in it. As you can see its just being held upto the sun light.

 

im not sure of what your talking about, but i know there is a way to get in touch with chip foose..and if your familiar with him, then your familiar with his amazing drawings. although, he may be a bit pricey...his results are well worth it. give it a shot

i Found it, it was actually a car craft magazine, the artist is george trosley, he does the kraft and bernie cartoons in the magazine, goosehunter87 i do like your work, how big of a picture can you do?

Trosley has been doing custom art since the mid 70's. K&B is now in Car Craft but he's also done a lot of automotive work for Cartoons. He's also done a lot of adult stuff for magazines like Hustler Humor. I've always enjoyed his artwork.

His work is fine if you want a cartoon style image of your car. There are many others like shown above that will just do a more realistic image of the car.

 

Yes i contacted him and he said that he can also do realistic pictures if thats what the customer wants, still shopping around though

 

I have only toyed with color in the past so my experience is more towards black and white. I can surely accent the drawing with color as seen in the Z06 picture. And to answer ricklovin93 I can do any size provided the photograph is of high enough resolution.

 

UPDATE: Here is a larger drawing that I just finished today. I could do something like this fairly quickly.

I want a drawing... How mutch you charge?

 

Ill do an 8.5x11 for $150 and an 18x24 for $200. If I go bigger or smaller price will be determined by hours. Also thank you guys for your input I'm getting better and better every single drawing.
