Smog pump delete belt question 89 tpi surpentine

Does anyone know what belt is used or the length of a surpentine belt to use to do away with the smog pump

Just use a piece of string and go through the whole system like you are putting on the belt and then just measure the string and go get the correct length belt. Thats what we did for mine. (You might have to shorten the length a tad cause the tensioner will be all the way down and there wont be any tension on the string)

It's around 98.6", if you do a search for it you can find it. I personally bought the smog delete pully so I could use my factory sized belt just eliminate any confusion later on.

Well it was a bunch of confusion and I finally got a belt to fix it I had tbi brakets so the belt they had listed on the tech board was to lOng so I got a 96 5/8 belt part number 6k960 and it works with out the delete pully didn't want to worry about a bearing going out in that delete pully or the pully breaking under stress

The delete pully's were factory options for most Canadian cars with no emissions provision, so I didn't see a worry about cracking or the bearing going out.
