Intake leak
I'm running a SuperRam intake, I had this same intake on a old L98 for years with no problems.. Then I dumped a ZZ4 cam and Brodix Head on the L98 short block. I soon had issue with oil blowing out the back of the lower intake all over the Firewall on hi RPM WOT pulls. This combined with my dipstick being pushed out lead me to believe I had excess blow by/ crank case pressure possible worn rings on the old L98. This happened a few times even using a hi end slicon "The Right Stuff". So anyway I now have the SuperRam upper/lower on a new 383 with only 2000 miles on it. Today I see Its leaking after a WOT pull. Its not blowing oil all over the firewall, more like a table spoon from a small area. I'm running the factory PVC system and always use "the right stuff" gasket silicon with no cork between the lower intake and short block, Any ideas what would be causing this issue????
