Which sensor for temp goes to ECM TBI 305

Car is getting terrible gas mileage and smells like rotten eggs. It is running at the normal temp and just fine per the temp gauge. I think there is another temp sensor that send info to the ECM and may be not working so it thinks it is running cold all the time? Where is it located?

Thermostat housing. Should be yellow and black wires going to it.
